Using QuizSparrow Responsibly

Effective 7 October 2026

1 · What QuizSparrow Is For

InQuizitive is adaptive: it keeps asking until you've shown you understand a concept. QuizSparrow exists to help you get there, with explanations of the material you're working on.

2 · What We Expect of Students

  • Follow your institution's rules. Your college's academic-integrity policy, any honour code you have signed, and your instructor's syllabus all govern how you study.
  • Find out what your course permits. Rules on AI and study tools differ between courses and instructors. Read the syllabus, and ask your instructor if it isn't clear.
  • Take responsibility for your submissions. You decide what goes in as your answer, and you are accountable for it.

3 · What We Don't Condone

  • submitting work as your own when your institution's rules say it isn't;
  • using QuizSparrow on an activity where your instructor has prohibited it, or has prohibited outside help of any kind.

4 · Why It Matters

InQuizitive activities are usually preparation for readings, exams and later chapters, so the understanding is the part worth keeping. The stakes are also real: under most institutions' policies, an integrity breach can lead to a failed assignment, a failed course, or formal disciplinary action.
